Votive Light 02/26/2008
 Clicking around Etsy I found this votive of pearly teal flowers, handmade by Racquel's Mosaics. These votives are offered in different styles, and I think it's the candle glow shining through the raised surface of hand-cut stained glass that makes them look enchanting. Raquel's adventures in mosaics are blogged and she is also starting a website, featuring the most whimsical mosaic creations. 'Glad I clicked around Etsy today! |  Al and Caroline have over 25 years combined experience designing and handmaking fine jewelry and restoring antique and period jewelry. One project involves designing and creating a collection inspired by stained glass from the late 18th century and early 19th century, including mixed media art jewelry. And most of the time there is at least one stained glass lampshade in the shop, undergoing restoration.
